Laurie H. Edwards

Ms. Edwards was born in West Point, Nebraska. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from the University of Wyoming. She holds a Wyoming CPA certificate and in 1993 she obtained a Juris Doctor with high honor from the University of Wyoming College of Law. Following law school, she served as clerk to the Honorable James E. Barrett, 10th Circuit Court of Appeals in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

In 1994, Ms. Edwards joined Donald P. Prehoda, Jr. and Robert H. Leonard in the practice of law.

The current firm of Prehoda, Leonard & Edwards, LLC was formed in 1996. Ms. Edwards is licensed to practice law in Wyoming and Colorado and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts in those states and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Her focus in the practice of law has been in the areas of trust and estate planning and administration, real estate, business planning, and banking.

Ms. Edwards is active in the Laramie community. She is a Past-President of the Albany County Bar Association, Past-President of the Kiwanis Club of Laramie and is a member of Soroptimist International of Laramie.

Ms. Edwards has two children, Stephen and Karen. She enjoys camping, swimming, traveling, and spending time with her family.
