In 1993 Ms. Edwards obtained a Juris Doctor with high honor from the University of Wyoming College of Law. Following law school, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable James E. Barrett, 10th Circuit Court of Appeals in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
In 1994, Ms. Edwards joined Donald P. Prehoda, Jr. and Robert H. Leonard in the practice of law.
The current firm of Prehoda, Leonard & Edwards, LLC (formerly Prehoda, Leonard & Janack LLC) was formed in 1996. Ms. Edwards' focus in the practice of law has been in the areas of trust and estate planning and administration, elder law, real estate and business planning.
Ms. Edwards is active in the Laramie community. She is a Past-President of the Albany County Bar Association, Past-President of the Kiwanis Club of Laramie and is a member of Soroptimist International of Laramie. Ms. Edwards is also a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys.
Ms. Edwards has two grown children, Stephen and Karen and a son-in-law Scott. Her first grandchild is on the way! She enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, traveling and spending time with family and friends. .
